Can an old tattoo be covered?

Some existing tattoos can be covered or reworked, but suitability depends on their size, darkness, placement and the condition of the skin. Send Joshua clear, unfiltered photographs and your preferred direction so he can assess the options. Some projects may need a larger design or laser fading before a new tattoo is planned.

What should I send with my enquiry?

Send clear photos in natural light, the tattoo’s location and approximate size, plus any ideas or styles you are open to.

Will laser removal be needed first?

Not always. In some cases, lightening very dark areas can create more design options. Joshua can advise after seeing the existing tattoo.
